Visit our Scandinavian-inspired hillside retreat on 10 acres of woods with Lake Superior views for miles. Located just 10 minutes north of Two Harbors, you'll enjoy the convenience of being near town for grocery and coffee runs but also the true up-north, in-the-woods experience.
Good to know
The cottage is an 1,150 sq ft two level home built in 2008. The main level is open concept and contains a living room with Smart TV and Room & Board queen sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, dining space, and full size washer and dryer. The upstairs is a large open loft area which contains a queen bed and bunk beds (full on bottom, twin on top). All mattresses are Tuft & Needle. Also upstairs, there is a full bathroom and workspace with desk and office chair. The upper level has a walkout patio and generous windows, all showcasing incredible views of the valley and Lake Superior. There is fast fiber optic internet throughout the property. Outside, you'll find a fire pit with surrounding chairs.
Other Details to Note
-The upstairs sleeping area is a large open loft with beds on opposite corners. If you want a more separate sleeping space, there is a sleeper sofa on the main level but please note the bathroom is upstairs through the loft. -Black flies can be a problem on the North Shore. While we have the cottage exterior professionally sprayed, it is in the the woods so you may encounter flies, mosquitos, and other insects during your stay. -There is a shooting range 1 mile from the property so depending on wind direction, there's a potential to hear gunfire off in the distance. -The driveway is very steep so 4WD is required in months with potential for snow and ice.
